Check doors to make sure they seal correctly to keep the cold air in and the warm air out. Clean the condenser coils and keep them free of dust and debris. Empty and clean the ice bin. Keep both the fridge and freezer full and for best results, keep the temperature of the fridge at 40 degrees Fahrenheit and the temperature of the freezer around 5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Air Conditioner

If there’s an appliance you definitely don’t want to do without during the summer, it’s your air conditioner. To help it do its best, clean or change your air filters, since dirty air filters can make it hard for your A/C to work properly.
